Labs Integration

We partner with Junction for electronically ordering labs. Through the Junction integration you can order labs from thousands of partner labs across the country — including Labcorp, Quest, and BioReference — and results are sent back to Avon automatically when they are available.

Once you are set up, follow the instructions here to order labs and review results.

Junction Integration

Prequisites

You must have account numbers set up with the labs (e.g. Labcorp, Quest) that you are trying to order from.

If you don't have account numbers set up yet, use the following links to contact the respective labs:

You must also turn on the "Lab orders" module for your organization. Follow the instructions here.

Steps

Your Avon contact will assist you in getting set up with Junction. To begin, you'll complete a brief form, and the Junction team will guide you through the setup process. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to reach out to your Avon contact.

Ordering from a lab Junction does not connect to

Junction covers the national and regional reference labs. If you need to order from a lab that is not on the Junction network, generate a lab requisition instead and send it to the lab yourself. Follow the instructions here.

Pulling in labs run elsewhere

Labs run by another provider do not come through the Junction integration. To bring those into the chart, use health information exchange and import the "Labs" record type. Follow the instructions here.
